You should fill out the rest of the document, but the document cannot be notarized unless it is signed at the time of the appointment. Appointments that are rescheduled due to a document already being signed at the time of the appointment are still subject to travel fees.
Documents must be complete before notarization. Any blank sections may require you to fill them in prior to signing. Excessive lateness fees may be applied if more than 15 minutes is spent filling out documents.

That's okay! We travel to hospitals and care facilities as long as the signer is alert, willing, and has proper ID.
Yes. Pursuant to New York State law, we are required to refuse notarizations if:
The signer lacks valid ID
The document is incomplete
The signer appears unwilling or unaware
The notarization would be unlawful
This protects everyone involved. If rescheduling is required for any of these reasons, travel fees still apply.
